NEPAL FLOOD EMERGENCY | August 26 Catastrophe and October 2026 Renewed Flood and Landslide Crisis | Thousands Still Miss

Nepal is facing a continuing flood and landslide emergency after catastrophic flooding on August 26 and renewed severe flooding and landslide conditions during October 2026.
No Name Foundation, operating publicly as Quenara Foundation, is continuing its humanitarian response from Dhunche in Rasuwa District, Bagmati Province. Communities affected by the disaster continue to face displacement, damaged homes, difficult road access, isolation, disrupted livelihoods and reduced access to basic household necessities.
Earlier displacement reporting used in our response record identified 4,288 affected households and 2,886 displaced people in the relevant Nepal flood context. These figures describe the scale of the emergency and are not presented as people served by our organization.
Our immediate priorities are safe drinking water, food, hygiene supplies, essential household items, shelter related assistance and practical early recovery support. Local assessment and local procurement are used wherever conditions allow so assistance can respond to actual needs and reach affected communities efficiently.
We are prioritizing displaced families, low income households, older adults, people with disabilities and other vulnerable residents facing serious disruption or prolonged isolation.
Flood emergencies do not end when the visible water recedes. Damaged roads, interrupted access, income loss, displacement and the loss of ordinary household essentials can continue for weeks or months. For this reason, our response connects immediate emergency relief with the first stages of household recovery.
Donations will help provide food, safe water, hygiene supplies, household essentials, shelter related assistance and other verified emergency and recovery needs identified through local assessment.
Our response model emphasizes practical assistance, local coordination, responsible procurement, documented distributions and continuing reassessment as conditions change. We work to use every contribution carefully and to preserve the dignity of families receiving assistance.
Your support can help families in Rasuwa and surrounding affected communities move from immediate crisis toward safety, stability and recovery.
