MLK Day of Service: Women’s Care Kits + Community Food Drive
Minimum Age:
16+ (Ages 5+ are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian.)
What We Will Do:
Join Spark & Project Helping this Martin Luther King Jr. Day as we come together through service, compassion, and community action to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
This year, volunteers will assemble Women’s Care Kynd Kits filled with essential feminine hygiene products, personal care items, and other thoughtfully selected supplies designed to provide comfort, care, and dignity to women in need.
All Kynd Kit supplies will be provided on-site, so just show up ready to build, connect, and make an impact!
We’re also hosting a community food drive!
Alongside our volunteer project, we’ll be collecting non-perishable food items to support Denver Public Schools Foundation’s Community Hubs, which connect DPS students and families with food and other essential resources.
Volunteers are highly encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations with them to the event. Every donation helps stock Community Hub food pantries and provide additional support to families in our community. If your unable to participate in the kits, your welcome to drop off food donations at any time during the event!
Whether you’re assembling a Women’s Care Kit, contributing to the food drive, or doing both, every act of service helps us honor Dr. King’s legacy by showing up for our community.
