Nonprofit Our Story Is
NonprofitOur Story Is Foundation (OSI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding equitable access to high-quality food, essential goods, and resources by removing financial, geographic, and physical barriers. We believe quality should never depend on circumstance. Through our signature Our Story Grows Project, we provide farm-fresh, organic produce through our farmers market with no monetary exchange, household produce deliveries, and seed packets with growing guides that promote food education and long-term self-sufficiency. Our Homelessness and Emergency Relief divisions extend our mission by providing clothing, hygiene products, household necessities, and other essential resources to individuals and families experiencing hardship. Serving communities throughout Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, we prioritize dignity, choice, and accessibility while supporting seniors, students, families in transition, and individuals often overlooked by traditional assistance programs. As we continue to grow, we are preparing to launch Our Story Market, an online marketplace that will expand access to farm-sourced herbs, dried goods, and nonperishable products, extending our reach beyond traditional community distributions. Our mission goes beyond meeting immediate needs. We are changing the standard of aid by ensuring that every individual has access to quality resources, meaningful opportunities, and the tools to build a more sustainable future.
