Jeffco Eats organizes Food Drives throughout the year. We make arrangements with grocers (such as King Soopers, Whole Foods, etc.) to set up outside their entrances for several hours and inform shoppers how they can support Jeffco Eats by purchasing food to donate.

Food Drive Helpers assist with setting up displays outside the store, including tables, food collection bins, signage, and other materials provided by Jeffco Eats. They then greet shoppers, inviting them to support Jeffco Eats and handing out flyers (provided by Jeffco Eats) that list the food items requested for that week. As shoppers exit, helpers assist with placing donations into the bins and thank them for their support. At the end of each shift, helpers assist with loading the donations to be taken to the Jeffco Eats Distribution Center,.

Most Food Drives are scheduled for 4-hours. If you are unable to commit to a full shift, please contact us to be scheduled for the first or last 2-hours of a shift. Email [email protected] or call 720.248.4443
