Introducing the Haves Board: Share What You Have to Give

We built Kynd Hub around a simple idea — that the resources a community needs are often already sitting somewhere within it. The Needs Board has always made it easy for nonprofits to ask. Now there’s a place to offer.

Say hello to the Haves Board.

What is the Haves Board?

The Haves Board is a new public listing where members post the things they have available to give — their time, their skills, or tangible goods and space. Where the Needs Board is about asking, the Haves Board is about offering. Together, the two boards make it easy for the right resource to find the right cause.

And here’s the part we’re most excited about: posting on the Haves Board is open to every logged-in member, not just nonprofits. If you have something to contribute, you can list it.

Time, Talent, or Treasure

Every listing falls into one of three categories — the classic framework for giving:

Time — Hands-on help and ongoing commitment. Board and committee service, event volunteering, ongoing volunteer hours, kit building, and mentorship or coaching.
Talent — Professional skills you can lend a cause. Everything from grant writing, graphic design, and marketing to finance, legal, IT, HR, program management, and more. (These line up with the same skill categories used on the Job Board, so it’s easy to connect offers to opportunities.)
Treasure — Tangible resources. Product and item donations, completed Kynd Kits, event space, office space and real estate, and equipment or supplies.

Whatever you have to give, there’s a place for it.

In-Person or Virtual

When you post, you’ll mark your offering as either In-Person or Virtual.

In-person listings show their location and appear on the map, so people nearby can find them. Virtual offerings — like remote mentorship or skilled help you can provide from anywhere — skip the location entirely and stay visible no matter where someone is searching from. You can filter the board by availability to see exactly the kind of help you’re looking for.

Grid view for a visual scan of what’s available
List view for a quick, scannable rundown
Map view to see in-person offerings near you

Filter by category, availability, location, or keyword to zero in on exactly what you need.

How to Post What You Have

Listing something takes just a minute:

Make sure you’re logged in to Kynd Hub.
Head to the Haves Board and click the “Post What You Have” button at the top of the page.
Fill in the details — a title, description, category, availability, and quantity if it applies.
Add photos or a document if you’d like, then publish.

Your listing goes live on the board right away. You can edit, update, or close any of your listings anytime from the “Manage My Listings” tab on the same page.

Why It Matters

Nonprofits run on more than just funding. They run on a board member who shows up, a designer who donates an afternoon, a company with extra office space, a volunteer with a free Saturday. The Haves Board gives all of that a front door — a single place where generosity becomes visible and easy to act on.
