โœจ What’s New: Find & Track Grants on Kynd Hub

New for nonprofits โ€” Grants is here.

Searching for funding usually means dozens of browser tabs, outdated databases, and grants that turn out not to fit your organization anyway. Grants on Kynd Hub flips that around: you tell us what you’re looking for, and Phoebee โ€” your Kynd Hub assistant โ€” searches the live web for real, current opportunities that actually match your nonprofit. Then you save the good ones and track every one from first look to final decision, all in one place.

What you can do

๐Ÿ” Describe what you need โ€” Phoebee does the searching

Tell Phoebee the kind of funding you’re after, and she searches the open web in real time for matching grant opportunities. Every result links back to the funder’s real grant page โ€” Phoebee won’t invent funders, deadlines, or links. A search runs in the background, so you can keep working while a progress bar keeps you posted; most searches wrap up in under a couple of minutes.

๐ŸŽฏ Results matched to your organization

Phoebee uses your nonprofit’s profile โ€” cause area, location and the geography you serve, annual budget, populations served, years operating, and your EIN โ€” to surface grants you can realistically win, not just anything that mentions your topic. Each result gets a match score from 0โ€“100 with a color-coded badge so the strongest fits rise to the top:

  • ๐ŸŸข 80+ โ€” strong match
  • ๐Ÿ”ต 55โ€“79 โ€” solid match
  • ๐ŸŸ  Under 55 โ€” worth a look

Need to adjust for a specific search? Open More filters to tweak things like budget bracket or geography for that one search โ€” your saved profile stays untouched.

๐Ÿ’พ Save the good ones, dismiss the rest

Found a grant worth pursuing? Save it to your pipeline. Not a fit? Dismiss it and it won’t clutter future results. Changed your mind? Re-saving brings it right back.

๐Ÿ“Š Track every grant through your pipeline

Saved grants land in your Grants Dashboard, organized by where each one stands. Move grants through the stages as your work progresses:

Reviewing โ†’ Letter of Intent โ†’ In Progress โ†’ Submitted โ†’ Awarded / Declined / Archived

Each stage is color-coded for a quick visual read of your whole pipeline at a glance. Add private notes to any grant and set your own working deadline โ€” the internal target your team is aiming for, separate from the funder’s official date.

๐Ÿ“… Never miss a deadline

The dashboard includes an Upcoming Deadlines calendar. Days with a grant deadline are marked, and clicking a day shows exactly which grants are due. The calendar uses your internal working deadline when you’ve set one, and the funder’s official deadline otherwise โ€” so what you see reflects how your team actually plans.

๐Ÿ” Save searches and re-run them in one click

Run a search you’ll want again? Name it and save it. Your saved search captures your criteria as a snapshot you can re-run anytime with a single click to surface anything new โ€” perfect for a standing “youth programs in our region” or “operating support under $50K” search you check monthly.

Good to know: Saved searches and saved grants are independent. Deleting a saved search never removes grants you’ve already saved to your pipeline.

How to get started

  1. Open the Grants page from your Kynd Hub navigation.
  2. Tell Phoebee what you’re looking for and run your first search. (Make sure your nonprofit profile is filled out โ€” the more complete it is, the better your matches.)
  3. Save the grants that fit into your pipeline.
  4. Head to your Grants Dashboard to set deadlines, add notes, move grants through your stages, and watch the deadline calendar.

A few tips

  • Complete your profile first. Cause area, geography served, budget, and populations served are what let Phoebee filter to grants you can actually win.
  • Save your searches. Grant landscapes change โ€” a saved search lets you re-check for new opportunities without retyping anything.
  • Use both deadlines. Set an internal “my deadline” earlier than the funder’s date to give your team breathing room; the calendar will plan around it.
  • Trust the source link. Every grant points to the funder’s real page โ€” always confirm the latest details and requirements there before you apply.
